Weatherling 1.7: Templates, grass, and colors of your own
Weatherling 1.7 lets you save your favorite weather as a template and share it with a link. Grass now grows along your windows, every effect can take a color of your own, and there are more Lings to find.
Save your favorite weather
A template keeps your whole scene: the weather, its colors, and its Random settings, under a name and an emoji if you like. Start from Rainy Day, Snow Drift, Autumn Day, or Techno, then make your own from the Templates menu at the top of the tray.
Share Template… turns any template into a link or a file. Whoever opens it gets your scene as a new template of their own, and their current weather, location, and settings stay just as they were.
Touch grass
Grass now grows along the tops of your windows, with moss and soil beneath it. Rain helps it grow, the wind bends the blades, and its own slider sets how tall it gets.
Color your weather
Click the palette beside any slider to give rain, snow, fog, sunlight, leaves, or grass a color of your own, then set its intensity and brightness. Natural brings back the original whenever you like.
More Lings, and Game Center if you want it
There are more Lings to discover. If you enjoy a little competition, turn on Game Center in Settings to compare lifetime and weekly scores on leaderboards and earn achievements. It stays off until you turn it on, and everything else works without it.
And a little more
Custom Sync sets how much of each element follows the weather outside. On battery power decides what happens when you unplug, and you can hide the effects over apps you choose. Weatherling now speaks Polish, Dutch, and Traditional Chinese, too.
Update and enjoy the weather
Update to 1.7 from the App Store. Everything is included in your existing purchase, with no subscription or in-app purchases. Thank you for making a little room for Weatherling on your desktop.
Enjoy the weather.
