Weatherling 1.5: sunlight, leaf gusts, and new Lings

A little sunshine between your windows. A breeze you can stir up yourself. A few new visitors. Weatherling 1.5 gives your desktop more ways to feel alive, with room to choose your own pace.

Let the light in

Warm sunlight joins rain, snow, and autumn leaves. Keep the rays steady with Fixed controls, or let Random bring a little variety. You can also choose how often random weather changes, so the scene can move at a pace that suits your day.

A breeze at your fingertips

Swipe your cursor through falling leaves to send a gust through them. It is a small invitation to play between tasks. Wind now starts in Random mode, adding a little movement without another setting to adjust.

More company, more to discover

New Lings bring their own personalities, animations, and sounds. I’ll leave the introductions to them. Interact, build your collection, and share your score when you feel like it; shorter links and score previews make that last part easier.

The quieter improvements

More efficient artwork loading and rendering reduce memory use and background work.

Smoother weather controls, corrected collection scoring, and a Ling tutorial that appears only on your first launch.

Now available in French and Italian, alongside English, Spanish, Simplified Chinese, Portuguese, Korean, German, and Japanese.
