Weatherling 1.2 is out! Meet Dan the Ling

Weatherling 1.2 just got approved on the Mac App Store. The rain has its first little visitor: Dan the Ling.

Meet Dan

Dan is a little man with an umbrella who turns up on your windows while it rains. He climbs up for a stroll along a window, splashes in the puddles, and shakes the rain off his canopy. Close the window out from under him and he floats down on his umbrella.

He brings a little company to a rainy desktop. Leave the rain running while you work and keep an eye on your window tops.

What’s new in 1.2

• Dan, the first Ling: a new visitor with his own rainy-day routine on your windows.
• Visit frequency: choose Never, Rarely, Sometimes (the default), or Often in Settings or the menu. Pick the amount of company you like, or keep the rain to yourself.
• Full-screen rain fix: fixed a bug when choosing to show rain in front of full-screen apps.

Update Weatherling from the Mac App Store to meet Dan. Thanks for giving him a place on your desktop.
